S ince the election, until last week the
Sentinel has manifested all the mental lassi
tude and debility incident to the deep grief
and severe maternal trials which its venera-
ble and venerated editor suffered at. and
since the birth of his unfortunate babe. In
the last issue, however, the stupor ot grief
gave way to a sudden and extraordinary out
burst of rage, against those who are regarded
as the cause of the speckled infants untimely

death. Klippel, Shipley and Fay are assailed
with frantio vehemence, and terrible wrath,
which would be frightful if the Assailant was
not so impotent, and so utterly irresponsible
for what is said under the circumstances.
