TO BUILD ROAD
SONS OF VETERANS

C. B. Zeek, Commander of the
local Post of G. A. R. informs us
that a ne* camp of Sons of Veterans
will be organized in Bandon next
Saturday evening September 16th.
Mr. Zeek has been working or
this project for some time and now
has everything in reidiness to insti­
tute the camp.
Tnere will be a large list < f charter
members, as many have already
signed the petition and others have
indicated their intention of doing so.
All sons and grand sons of honor

sailors and mariners of the civil war
are eligible to membership in the
order.
All those who have not already
signed the application for a charter
and desire to become charter mem
bers of the Bandon camp may do so
by coming Saturday evening, bring
ing their father's or grandfather’s
soldier record, and paying the
charter fee of $2.00.
All members of the G. A. R. and
W. R. C. are urged to be present

work of mustering in

The Roseburg Review says: “The

ner and Haas for building an electric
railway between Roseburg and Coos
Bay was received here this morning
