Forced by the closing down of the
mills on Coos Bay to seek cargoes
from the Coquille river, the Hugh
Hogan and the Sausalito, two
schooners in the Coos Bay-Frisco
lumber trade, are now loading with
in onr harbor. We have the goods
over here to supply all the vessels
that can get to our w harves, and yet
tlu-re are few that appreciate this
fact. The Estabrook Company is
among the few ;
they are building
a new ship over on the Bay to run
in connection with the Bandon, be
tween this River and California
ports and are demonstrating to our
minds that they are good business
men and appreciative I opportunity
when they sec it.
