The students of the high school
will give an entertainment at the op
era house Saturday evening, March
7th. The program of the evening
will consist of selected orations, dra
matic and humorous recitations.
Judges for the contest have been
chosen, and they will select three
students, one each from the dramat
ic, oratorical and humorous classes.
The ihree selected will represent the
school in a contest with the Coquille
high school to be held at Coquille
at a future date not yet fixed.
This is the first public entertain
ment of the year to be given by th*
high school students, and all those
interested in the work of the school
should make that interact manifest
by giving the students a cr. Oded
house; they will appreciate the en.
coursgement that comes with your
presence. The program is a good
one and you will enjoy it.
To meet the necessary expanses
of our coining contests with Coquille
an admission fee of 25cts will be col
lected at the door.
