Last week Dr. Tyler, assisted by
O Leueve and bis son Norman, per
formed an emergency operation of
the most difficult and dangerous
nature upon Mrs. Richardson of Port
Orford, Two days afterward another
operation was performed, also a crit
ical one but not so difficult as the
first. Both operations were success
fill, and so far no complications have
appeared, and faith is strong that
she will recover. The case is one that
is unusual, and everybody is con
gratulating the Doctor on his ac
curate diagnosis, and his skillful
surgery. We refrain from describing
the case, and hope that the Doctor
shall be able to give the Medical
Journals a full treat ine, and record
bis success.
Bandon is to have electric lights
installed by Sept 1st. She is also to
have another big sawmill of 75,000
feet capacity. If there is anything
else sbe wants she will get it, because
there are uo Hies on her citizens, who
all pull together.
The Bandon Recorder has changed
