S. L. Shumate, of Roceburg, who
has been stopping hero for the last
two or three months, left for his homo

beach with his family in the hope of
regaining his health, and the change
proved so beneficial that he soou en
gaged in hauling matchwood, and
now returns to his home in good
health, having cleared his expenses
by hauling. He intends to return to
Bandon next Spring again.
