A J i : Thru-b, unploved on the
ii logins' ranch where J. E Fitzger
aid met with such a horrible accident
.asi Tuesday morning, was brought to
ur.Mi in almost tbe same predicament
e-terday noon. Though ThrushV
.i jurirs are not so serious as were
hose of his employer, it is a remark
able coincidence that they are of ex
actly the same nature and that the
accident occured at the very spot
which mnrks the scene of the other,
n t yet a week old.
When Mr. Fitzgerald was hurt ho
fell from the top of his baru where
he was putting up a pulley to be
used in hauling hay into the loft,
when Thrush was injured he was at
work putting the hay into tho loft
and stood at the very spot where
Fitzgerald had fallen. The same
pulley which Fitzgerald was hanging
is the pulley which dropped with
such disastrous results to Mr Thrush
yesterday afternoon.
Just how either accident ocenrred
is not exactly known. It is simply
known that the block fell striking
Mr. Thrush upon the head inflicting
a very ugly scalp wound and dentine
tbe skull. He was brought to town
late yesterday evening and is now at
the hospital where his wound have
been dressed and be is under the care
