locations at Agency Block 1.
What you will learn.
• How to work safely as an archaeologist in the field.
• Hands-on training in field survey and excavation.
• Hands-on training to identify artifacts.
What you will need to bring or wear.
• Wear long pants and a shirt with sleeves.
• Have good work boots (leather preferred), and work gloves.
• Expect to be outside each day, in the weather, rain or shine.

What is Required?
• Open to all Tribal members of any federally recognized tribe.
• Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of
time and be able to get dirty.
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license
and transportation.
