Tribal Elder Deitz Peters helps Ezri Bailey, 15, as she makes a medicine bag
during hayu-munk skukum Spring Break Camp. Peters led the workshop in
which he educated the youth on how to make and use the bags.
Tribal member Brian Krehbiel tells Leloo Quenelle, 11, to sit against the side of
the canoe as she and Aubrey Campbell, 11, are the first in as their clan loads for
a paddle on Devil’s Lake.

Owen Campbell, 14, adds a fifth die as he stacks dice on the end of
