FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ORDINANCE
OPEN FOR COMMENT
Tribal Council is considering amendments to the Freedom of In-
formation Ordinance. The proposed amendments were given a fi rst
reading at the Wednesday, March 20, 2024, Tribal Council meeting.
The proposed amendments would reduce the number of years in
which certain documents would be declassifi ed from 15 years to 3
years, and may include minor technical (i.e., formatting and typo-
graphical) modifi cations.
Tribal Council invites comment on the proposed amendments to
the Freedom of Information Ordinance. For a copy of the proposed
amendments, contact the Tribal Attorney’s Offi ce at 503-879-4664
or legal@grandronde.org. Send comments to the Tribal Attorney’s
Offi ce, 9615 Grand Ronde Road, Grand Ronde, OR, 97347 or by email

GRAND RONDE GAMING
COMMISSION POSITIONS
The Grand Ronde Gaming Commission of the Confederated Tribes
of Grand Ronde is accepting applications for a commission member
position for a 3-year term. The Grand Ronde Gaming Commission
regulates all gaming related activities associated with Spirit Moun-
tain Casino.
The Tribal Gaming Ordinance requires this position to be fi lled by
a Tribal member.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Commissioners may not
hold elective or managerial Tribal positions and may not be employed
in or own any interest in or gamble in a gaming operation authorized
by the Tribal Gaming Ordinance.
Commissioners are paid independent contractors and spend ap-
proximately 30 to 40 hours per month to fulfi ll their responsibilities.
The commission generally meets on the second and third Thursday of
each month. Appointment is contingent upon successful completion
of a background investigation.

pathway into ECE professions. If you are interested in substituting, please check
for an available Teacher Aide/Bus Monitor-On-Call position. We encourage our
former students and parents of students enrolled in our program to apply.

ORO staff will email you a link to log in once your account has been created or found. Please
upload any training certificates you have that apply to the ORO Core Knowledge Categories.

Tribal member art exhibit
featured at Linfi eld Gallery
Tribal member Leland Butler’s art exhibit, “Connected to the Land,” will
be featured at The Linfi eld Art Gallery in McMinnville through Friday,
May 3.
The gallery is located at Linfi eld University, 900 S.E. Baker St., McMin-
nville. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 5
p.m. Saturday. The gallery is free and open to the public.
