Tribal banking partner
affected by merger
In March, Tribal banking partner Columbia Bank merged with Umpqua
Bank and is now doing business under the Umpqua name.
Effective March 20, their banking systems merged and any Tribal mem-
ber automatic deposits that would have said Columbia Bank now will say
Umpqua Bank.

Empowerment & Prevention Program
held in the Tribal Community Center on Thursday, March 30. About 25
people participated in the event where Britni Whitford, art instructor
and co-owner of We Make Art in Salem, visited the Tribe to guide the
painting class. After painting, the group made their own pizzas to eat
at the event and one to take home. In the background, King9s cousins
Marlii Varela, 10, middle, and Kyleigh Johnson, 15, also paint.
