Tribal Council member Denise Harvey adds toppings to a taco during
a blessing and tasting event held at the new Mexican-style restaurant
in Spirit Mountain Casino on Monday, May 16. Jalapeños opened to
the public on Wednesday, May 18, and is the third new restaurant
the casino has opened this year after Italian restaurant Amore and
10 Barrel Brewing Hop Yard. Other members of Tribal Council who
attended the event included Kathleen George, who gave the blessing,
and Michael Cherry. Spirit Mountain Casino Interim General Manager
Bruce Thomas also attended.
An attendee takes a taco prepared by chef Sean Huey at a blessing and
tasting event held at Jalapeños, the new Mexican-style restaurant in
Spirit Mountain Casino, on Monday, May 16. Jalapenos opened to the
public on Wednesday, May 18, in the former deli area of the casino.
Jalapeños is the third new restaurant the casino has opened this year
after Italian restaurant Amore and 10 Barrel Brewing Hop Yard.

Spirit Mountain Community Fund:
Room for 30 Volunteers (First Come First Served). All volunteers
will be entered in a raffle for City Fair passes with unlimited
carnival rides or Rose Cup Race tickets. Folding chairs will be
available for those who can not stand for any length of time. A
continental breakfast and box lunch will be provided. When calling
to reserve your space, please specify what kind of sandwich you
prefer (Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef or Tuna).
