Position: Journeyman car-
penter
Lee Wilson applied for the
TERO Skills Bank in 2016.
Since then he has worked on
a variety of our local Tribal

asset to all the projects he has
worked on.
Lee has been selected for our
Worker of the Month for Septem-
ber for his great self-motivation,

craftsmanship. He has recently
Lee Wilson
been referred to the four-year-
long Yaquina Bay Bridge ODOT project in Newport and said he is
grateful for the opportunity and trainings that TERO have provided
for him to strengthen his skills as a journeyman carpenter.
Great job, Lee!
Police Department has
non-emergency text line
The Grand Ronde Tribal Police Department has created a non-emer-
gency text line at 541-921-2927. “Even though this is mostly designed for
children, I don’t want adults thinking that they can’t use it as well.” said
Grand Ronde Tribal Police Chief Jake McKnight. McKnight said that
emergency situations still require calling 911. For more information,
contact McKnight at 503-879-1474. 
