The Summer Reading Program is going strong with 85 participants. We will be providing extra chances to earn raffle points throughout the program. Recently we offered an extra raffle ticket if you submitted a photo of a participant either reading or completing an activity from the reading packet. This week’s packet includes a survey about the program. Please fill out the survey and return it to Kathy Cole. Each completed survey will earn a raffle ticket. Please remember to turn in your reading logs when they are completed. Every completed reading log earns a raffle ticket. The raffle will be held on Aug. 28, which is the last day of the program. Phase 2 reopening policies: • To come into the library, patrons must call to make an appoint- ment. 503-879-1488 or 503-879-1499.  Library building will be locked. • Before coming into the library, patrons must go to the gym to have their temperature checked. • Only five patrons allowed in the library at one time. • 15-minute time limit for each patron. • No children under the age of 2 years old allowed in the library. • All employees and visitors will be required to wear a face mask.  Masks will be provided to any individual who does not have one. • Practice social distancing, please maintain a distance of six feet from others. • Hands need to be sanitized before browsing the collection. Library staff will be adhering to strict social distancing and sani- tizing procedures. Our patrons’ safety is extremely important to us. Please stay home if you are feeling sick for the health and safety of yourself and others. The Tribal Library is now offering curbside pick-up: There is a three-item limit per library card. Curbside service will be offered from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Patrons can place holds on books and DVDs in three ways: • Via our catalog on grandronde.org under the Education Depart- ment page. • Calling us at 503-879-1488 or 503-879-1499. • E-mailing Kathy.cole@grandronde.org or crystal.bigelow@gran- dronde.org. When arriving for pickup: Park your vehicle, call the library and let us know you are here. Staff will then check out the items, bag them and bring your items out to your car and place them in the trunk of your car. Items can be returned in the book drop on the left side of the library. Little Library locations: The Little Libraries have been re- stocked with books. Swing by and take a look! The Tribal Library oversees the 14 Little Library locations in and around Grand Ronde. Feel free to stop by any of these locations and grab a book for free. Please remember that you cannot return your library items to the Little Library locations. Library materials that have been checked out must be returned in person or dropped off via the book return located on the left side of the Tribal Library entrance. Requests: The Tribal Library provides recommendation forms to provide patrons with an outlet to request book/media content we may not currently have. Donation Policy: The Tribal Library is accepting donations of books, DVDs, audiobooks, compact discs and other items. We do not accept VHS, cassette tapes, pocket books, or damaged or dirty items.
