Grange holding food bank fundraiser
SHERIDAN — The Buell Grange will be holding a fundraiser breakfast
for the Grand-Sherimina Food Bank from 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at
the grange, 5970 Mill Creek Road.
Cost is $7 for either pancakes or French toast, or eggs and potatoes.
There may be a surprise menu item as well and all the coffee you can drink.
September is National Hunger Awareness Month and people are en-
couraged to bring cans of food, cash donations and an awareness for those
who are hungry.
“It is also Grandparents Day, by the way, so bring your grandparents
for breakfast,” said Buell Grange Secretary Beth Crowe. 

Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019, at Wildcat covered bridge, Highway 126
and Siuslaw River Road (the old homestead of Ira Jeffers).
From Eugene, take Highway 126 west toward Mapleton. At
approximately mile marker 27.5, turn left on Siuslaw River Road.
From Mapleton to Eugene, turn right at approximately mile
marker 26.5 on Siuslaw River Road. Look for
signs with balloons for your turnoff.
Bring lawn chairs and favorite food dish to share.
Eat around noon.

Visioning Project schedules Aug. 14 meeting
WILLAMINA – The West Valley Visioning Project will hold a meet-
ing from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, at Willamina High
School, 1100 N.E. Oaken Hills Drive.
People who live, work and/or play in the Grand Ronde, Sheridan
or Willamina region are invited to the community conversation and
free meal. RSVPs are encouraged, but not required.
