Lodge Phase 2 remodel project
Spirit Mountain Gaming, Inc. (the owner) hereby extends an invi-
tation to General Contractors to bid on the Spirit Mountain Lodge,
Phase 1 Remodel Project, Grand Ronde, Oregon.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Spirit Mountain Lodge Remodel
project located in Grand Ronde, Oregon, consists of upgrading and
renovating 156 guest rooms; including 105 guest rooms located on
the 1st through 3rd floors of the West Tower, 14 suites and 29 guest
rooms located on the 5th floor of the East & West Towers, and 8 guest
rooms located on the 2nd through 5th floors in the East Tower that
will be converted to Junior Suites. This first phase of construction
will also consist of upgrading all lodge corridors, elevator lobbies and
elevator interiors on all five floors of both the East and West Towers,
upgrading the lodge lobby and remodel of the Hall of Legends exhibit
area. All associated information required to complete the buildings
are describe in the Drawings and Project Manual.
BID SUBMITTAL Sealed bids for the construction of the Spirit
Mountain Lodge, Phase 1 Remodel project must be received by Ron
Reibach, Facilities Director, Spirit Mountain Gaming, Inc. 27100
S.W. Salmon River Highway, Grand Ronde, OR 97347, by or before
3 p.m. local time, Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 .
Bids (including all required documentation) shall be submitted in
a sealed envelope with bidder’s identification plainly marked on the
outside including name, project name, bid date and time. Bids shall
be submitted on the bid form provided within the Project Manual.
Bids submitted via fax or by other electronic means shall be rejected
as nonresponsive.
Champoeg Celebration
set for Saturday, Oct. 13
The Confederated Tribes of
Grand Ronde, Oregon State Parks
and Institute for Applied Ecology
will host a day of celebration at
historic Champoeg State Park from
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13.
The event will allow Grand Ronde
Tribal members a chance to learn
about first foods plants in the Willa-
mette Valley, plant Native plants in
an active restoration site and taste
and try traditional Native foods as
lunch will be provided at noon.

PRE-BID MEETING A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held
at the Spirit Mountain Casino, 27100 S.W. Salmon River Highway,
Grand Ronde, Ore., on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, at 11 a.m, to discuss
the scope of work, and visit the construction area. Statements made
by Owner representatives at the conference are not binding on the
Owner, unless confirmed by written addendum.
TRIBAL EMPLOYMENT RIGHTS ORDINANCE (TERO) AP-
PLICABILITY The Tribe has adopted a TERO Ordinance which
applies to this project. A copy of the ordinance is available on the
Tribe’s website at the following link: http://www.grandronde.org/
archives/ or will be provided by the Tribe’s TERO office by calling
503-879-2188. The selected contractor will be a Covered Employer
and subject to TERO requirements.
BIDDING DOCUMENTS Bid Documents, including contract
terms, conditions and specifications will be available for review
and purchase beginning Oct. 1, 2018. The Plan Holders List will
be managed by the Project Manager, Michael Marino, M. Marino
Consulting, 652 S.E. Zapata Place, Madras, Ore., 97741; Ph: (541)
325-1510, Email: mike@mmarinoconsulting.com. All bidders wishing
to be notified of addenda shall register their name, mailing address
and e-mail address with Mr. Marino.

if any, and if necessary an Addendum will be issued to all plan holders
of record at least three (3) calendar days prior to the bid due date.
