Grand Ronde Transit Survey
The Tribe is collecting comments on public transit use, needs, gaps
and suggestions. Current transit service runs between Grand Ronde
and Lincoln City on 60X Coastal Connector, between Grand Ronde
and Salem on 60X Coastal Connector and 70X Grand Ronde Transit
and between Grand Ronde and McMinnville on YCTA Route 22 (&
24s). The survey will end on Friday, May 11, and the information
will be used in preparing a new Grand Ronde Public Transit Plan.

Survey forms are also available at the front desks of the Tribal
Governance Center and the Tribal Housing Administrative Office,
and at the Patient Registration desk at the Tribal Health & Wellness
Center in Grand Ronde.
Helping Hands schedules meeting
The Clothes Closet, iskam mfkhmfk haws, Empowerment Outreach
Ministries, Lighthouse Church and A Cause For Paws have joined forces
to support local families.
The group, collectively named Grand Ronde Helping Hands, seeks to
bring together those who are supporting families in Grand Ronde to share
services and resources, and create a resource guide.
Helping Hands’ next meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 14,
at Lighthouse Church located in the Tribal building at 24697 Grand Ronde
Road. If you provide any type of services to families in the community,
consider attending. The group is looking for meal site calendars, food box
sites, clothes closets, showers and laundry services.
There also will be a collection day at iskam mfkhmfk haws, 9675 Grand
Ronde Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12. Donations are
being sought of small kitchen appliances, backpacks, school supplies, pet
items and warm clothing, as well as tents, tarps, sleeping bags, pillows,
warm blankets, rain gear, boots and heavy jackets to restock the shelves.
Helping Hands continues to seek a volunteer with graphic arts skills to
create a logo that represents all of the organizations. The logo would be
used on business cards, a banner and possibly a website, and the artist
possibly would receive a small honorarium.

Investments in the Adult Members’ Trust Fund and the Minors’ Custodial
and Rabbi Trust Funds are updated each business day.
If you are a trust participant and/or if you are the parent/guardian of a
minor member, you can access and review your balance and your minor
child’s balance by visiting www.401Save.com.
To log-in, the initial User ID is your (or your child’s) Social Security number,
and the initial Password is “00” followed by your (or your child’s) membership
number. Once logged in, you can customize your User ID and password for
security purposes. If you have any trouble logging in to or using the sys-
tem, contact the 401Save Call Center at 1-888-700-0808 between 9 a.m.
and 5 p.m. Pacific time, Monday through Friday.
MEMBER BENEFIT FUND ORDINANCE
OPEN FOR COMMENT
The Tribal Council is considering amendments to the Member
Benefit Fund Ordinance. The proposed amendments were given a
First Reading at the April 4, 2018, Tribal Council meeting.
The proposed amendments change Section (e)(9) to provide that dis-
tributions refused or not claimed by a designated beneficiary within
18 months of the member’s death will be returned to the Fund and
become part of the following year’s appropriation and distribution.
The proposed amendments also include minor technical (i.e., for-
matting, typographical, housekeeping) modifications. Tribal Council
invites comment on the proposed amendments to the Member Benefit
Fund Ordinance. For a copy of the proposed amendments, please
