‘Bead man’ visiting
Elders Activity Center
Waldport resident Robert Taylor will be bringing an array of beads for
sale to the Elders Activity Center, 48940 Blacktail Drive, from 9 a.m. to
3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, May 3-4.

New Titles in the Collection:
Adult Fiction: “Red Sparrow” by Jason Matthews is a masterful spy
tale lifted from the dossiers of intelligence agencies on both sides of
the Atlantic; tense.
Adult Non-fiction: “Alone” by Brett Archibald is about being lost
overboard in the Indian Ocean, and “Great Moments in Chocolate
History” by Howard-Yana Shapiro includes 20 classic recipes from
around the world; yum.
Young Adult Fiction: “Long Way Down” by Jason Reynolds is about
60 seconds, seven floors and three rules.
Elementary Fiction: “Hello Universe” by Erin E. Kelly proves some
friendships are meant to be.
Elementary Non-fiction: “Grand Canyon” by Jason Chin shows
that the canyon is so much more than just a big hole in the ground.
Easy Fiction: “A Different Pond” by Bao Phi is a story about family,
tradition, hope and fishing.
Easy Non-fiction: “Freedom in Congo Square” by Carole B. Weath-
erford is a story that expresses a human’s capacity to hold on to hope
and joy even in the most difficult circumstances.

the generosity of our friends of the library.
Reminder: Donated items must be clean and in good condition.
Inter-Library Loan services: The Tribal Library partners with
Oregon State Library to offer “library to library” inter-library loan
services. By completing the inter-library loan form, library patrons
may request items from the Oregon State Library collection. Items
will be couriered to and from the Tribal Library. OSL lending policies
apply for return of items.
