TO CHANGE NAME
Based on the allegations set forth in the Petition for Name Change
filed by Petitioner on October 16, 2017,
THE COURT FINDS AS FOLLOWS:
1. This Court has jurisdiction over the Petitioner and the subject
matter of the Petition herein;
2. The Petitioner is over 18 years of age;
3. The Petitioner is an enrolled member of the Confederated
Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon, roll number
1094;
4. The Petitioner has not petitioned and been granted a change of
name by the Tribal Court within the past twelve (12) months;
5. The Petitioner has served Creditors or Former Spouses to
whom an obligation is owed under a divorce decree.
Helping Hands honored
Spirit Mountain Community Fund annually selects two individuals
to receive the Ye? lan Lima (Helping Hand) awards: one non-man-
agement staff member and one volunteer who are recognized for
their outstanding service within the nonprofit community. For 2017,
Alejandra Gurrola, Program & Volunteer coordinator at The Shadow
Project in Portland, won the staff member award and Catherine Pick-
up, a volunteer at Reality Kitchen in Eugene, was chosen to receive
the volunteer award.
Spirt Mountain Community Fund Executive Director Mychal Cher-
ry and Program Coordinator Angela Sears presented the awards.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED:
1. The name of the Petitioner is changed from Shanon Lee Berkey
to Shanon Lee Denhem;
2. The Clerk of the Tribal Court shall cause a copy of this Order
to be published in the Tribal Newsletter;
3. The Clerk of the Tribal Court shall submit a certified copy of
this Order to the Grand Ronde Tribal Enrollment office;
4. The Clerk of the Court shall provide a certified copy of the
Order to the Oregon State Department of Vital Statistics.

Inter-Library loan services: The Tribal Library partners with
Oregon State Library to offer “library-to-library” inter-library loan
services. By completing the inter-library loan form, library patrons
may request items from the Oregon State Library collection. Items
will be couriered to and from the Tribal Library. State Library
lending policies apply for return of items.

Housing Board seeks community input
AMERICAN INDIAN TEACHER PROGRAM
The Grand Ronde Housing Board is inviting Tribal members and Trib-
al housing residents to provide input to assist its members in carrying
out its advisory role to the Housing Department and Tribal Council
regarding policy guidance. The Housing Board meets at 3 p.m. the third
Thursday of each month in the Housing Department conference room,
28450 Tyee Road. Its chair is Matt Thomas. For more information,
