Female subject was arrested and transported to the Yamhill County
Jail for reckless driving, three counts of reckless endangering, criminal
mischief in the first degree and unlawful use of a weapon.
• DUII in the area of milepost 22 on Salmon River Highway. Female op-
erator was issued a citation to appear on the criminal charge of DUII
– Cannabis.
• Assist outside agency regarding a male subject who arrived in the
27100 block of Salmon River Highway with a gunshot wound to the
lower abdomen. He was transported to Willamette Valley Medical
Center in McMinnville by West Valley Fire personnel.
• Reported attempted burglary/domestic assault in the 9700 block of
Tilixam Circle.
• Assist outside agency with suspicious activity in the area of Newsome
Drive.
Tuesday, Oct. 24
• Discarding lighted materials in the area of milepost 22 on Salmon
River Highway. Female subject was cited to appear after tossing a lit
cigarette from a vehicle she was a passenger in.
• Assist outside agency with an alarm in the 28000 block of Tyee Road.
Male subject was transported to Willamette Valley Medical Center in
McMinnville by West Valley Fire personnel.

• Animal complaint in the 28000 block of McPherson Road.
• Attempted burglary in the 9600 block of Tilixam Circle.
• Assist outside agency with a driving complaint in the area of milepost
6 on Salmon River Highway.

was issued a citation for speed for going 89 mph in a 55 mph speed
zone.

• Failure to perform the duties of a driver — property damage occurred
in the 27100 block of Salmon River Highway.
• Traffic assist in the area of Salmon River Highway and Grand Ronde
Road.

Board seeking younger veterans
The Veterans Special Event Board is recruiting younger veterans
from the Iraqi and Afghanistan conflicts to join.
“Our committee is getting older,” Veterans SEB Chairman Steve
Bobb Sr., who is a Vietnam War-era Marine Corps veteran, said.
Members of the Special Event Board attend events as flag carriers
and represent the Tribe and their branch of service. Veterans interest-

subject was hunting.
