Nike Campus Tour
Museum seeks designs for
Native American memorial

What: Join us for a tour of the Portland Nike Campus & see what kind of
careers Nike has to offer! During this innovative company visit youth will be
exposed to a variety of careers, while learning about what degrees and
schooling is required to get a job at Nike.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Museum of the American Indian
is inviting people to submit designs to build the National Native American
Veterans Memorial, which is slated to open in 2020.
The international competition is open to students, architects, designers
and anyone else who wants to submit a design.
The Veterans Memorial will be placed on museum grounds at the Na-
tional Mall. A blue-ribbon jury of Native and non-Native artists, designers,
scholars and veterans will judge the design entries.
The competition consists of two stages: An open call to submit designs
and a jury selecting five finalists.

Inter-Library Loan services: The Tribal Library partners with
Oregon State Library to offer “library to library” inter-library loan
services. By completing the inter-library loan form, library patrons
may request items from the Oregon State Library collection. Items
will be couriered to and from the Tribal Library. OSL lending policies
apply for return of items.

