Brandon Jesse Robertson
Oct. 30, 1980 – June 27, 2017
Grand Ronde Tribal member
Brandon Jesse Robertson, 36,
beloved father, brother and son,
passed over to the Spirit World on
June 27, 2017.
Brandon grew up on Spirit Moun-
tain in Grand Ronde, Ore. He was
the son of Candy (George) Robert-
son and Jess Robertson Sr.
As a child, he attended Grand
Ronde Elementary School and
Willamina middle and high schools.
More recently, he completed his
first term in college where he was
studying to become an auto me-
chanic.
Brandon was a talented artist and was teaching himself to play
guitar. His favorite pastimes were drawing and reading. He was
very proud of his Native American heritage and read a lot about his
ancestors and Tribal history.
He was fascinated with the presence of the golden spiral throughout
nature and he often incorporated this into his artwork. His other
interests included astronomy and his telescope was one of his most
prized possessions.
Brandon is survived by his three children, Alexis, Carmen and
Colin, whom he couldn’t have been more proud. He also is survived
by his mother, Candy Robertson; brothers, Jesse Jr. (Pee Wee), Ken
and Lynn (Bear) Robertson; and sisters, Angie Blackwell, Debby
Larsen, Mychal Cherry and Diana Sohappy. He also leaves behind
countless nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jess Robertson Sr., and
brother, Mike Robertson.
Health & Wellness Center hours
The Health & Wellness Center is pleased to add additional access for
patients during holiday weeks on Thursday mornings.
The clinic will be scheduling patients at 8 a.m. every Thursday preceding
or following a holiday closure. Urgent care also will be available during
this time.
Example: Tribal offices are closed on Tuesday, July 4, in observance of
Independence Day. Thursday, July 6, the Health & Wellness Center will
be open at 8 a.m. for scheduled patients and urgent care. 

No matter which program you volunteer for, you can make a difference.
CASA Program:
As a CASA volunteer, you can help a child by advocating for that child’s best interest. Making sure that
child receives the services they need, be placed in the best placement available, and help advocate for
the best outcome of that child’s case. You become a voice for the child. As a CASA Advocate you will
also foster a positive connection between the child and the Tribe.

• 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday and Friday
• 9:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday

As a Tribal Member Review Board (TMRB) Member, you review cases of Tribal Children, in the
jurisdiction of the Tribal Court. When reviewing these cases you learn about the child(ren), family and
services needed for the family. You make findings and recommendations about the case to the Court
and to the ICW program.
Peacemaker Program:
As a Peacemaker, you facilitate the Peacemaking process. Sessions are held in a safe environment
where parties can openly and honestly discuss their dispute. Part of the Peacemaker process is “getting
to the heart of the dispute”. Examining the issues to discover the interest of all parties and guiding
them to a mutually agreeable resolution.
