June 11
• A driving complaint was received regarding a possible DUII driver,
but due to the time delay police were unable to locate it.
• Tribal police answered citizen questions regarding how to report a
theft in another jurisdiction.
June 12
• Tribal police assisted a family with getting a 2-year-old who had
climbed on to the roof of a residence near Tyee Road.
• Methamphetamines were located by Tribal police.
• A violation of a restraining order was reported to Tribal police.
June 13
• A hit and run was reported to surrounding agencies in the area of
Fort Hill Road.
• A citizen reported a possible identity theft to Tribal police. Officers
are investigating.
• Tribal police took a report of disorderly conduct in the 27000 block
of Salmon River Highway.
• Illegal campers were reported at Big Buck campground. Tribal
police warned the parties to leave or they could be charged with
trespassing.
• A pipe was located in the 26000 block of Salmon River Highway.
• Tribal police assisted Oregon State Police with contacting the driver
of a vehicle that had crashed in Lincoln City but who lived in Grand
Ronde.
June 14
• An alarm was received. Law enforcement and fire personnel re-
sponded. Turned out to be burnt popcorn.
• A female was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
• Tribal police followed up on the camping trespass issue. The campers
left.
• Tribal police arrested a female for DUII.
June 15
• Salem police located the suspect in the restraining order violation
from June 12 and arrested him for Tribal police. Tribal police met
Salem police and took custody of the suspect, lodging him in jail.
• An officer played basketball with several juveniles.
• Tribal police assisted an employee who was locked out of their ve-
hicle.
• A branch was located in Highway 18. Tribal police removed it.
June 16
• Another trespass issue was reported at Big Buck campground. The
campers left the campground as instructed by law enforcement.
• A vehicle involved in a major crime in Tillamook County was reported
to possibly be in the Grand Ronde area, passing through. Officers
did not locate the vehicle.
• A female was arrested for trespass, disorderly conduct and harass-
ment for refusing to leave the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway
and for striking a security officer in the face when asked to leave.
• Several driving complaints were received.
June 17
• Tribal officers assisted a stranded motorist on Agency Creek Road.
• Officers located a vehicle called in during a driving complaint.
• An ongoing family dispute was called in to Tribal police.
• A welfare check was conducted in Tribal housing.

• Two dogs were attacking a pig. Tribal officers corralled the pig and
detained it in a chicken coop for its own safety.
• A verbal disturbance was reported in the area of Tyee Road.
June 18
• Tribal police contacted the distraught individual from June 17 and
verified they were OK.
• A female subject was reported to be possibly soliciting in the 27000
block of Salmon River Highway. Tribal police arrived and she was
already gone.
• Tribal police covered Polk County deputies on a domestic distur-
bance.
June 19
• Oregon State Police requested Tribal police assist in locating a
driving complaint on Highway 18. An officer located the vehicle and
stopped it. The driver had a diabetic issue and medics were called.
• A fraud case was reported to Tribal police. Officers are investigating.
• Tribal police assisted Polk County deputies with a suspicious person
reported to be looking in mail boxes on Highway 18.
• An officer assisted a stranded motorist with a minor vehicle repair
so she could get to work.
• Citizens called Tribal police regarding obtaining a restraining order.
An officer directed the citizen to the courts.
• A telephonic harassment case was reported to Tribal police.
June 20
• An alarm was reported to police. After police responded, it was de-
termined to be an accidental activation.
• Tribal police assisted Polk County deputies with a physical domestic
disturbance reported on Andy Riggs Road.
• An officer assisted a stranded motorist with getting enough gas to
go to their destination.
• A driving complaint was received. The vehicle was reported to have
been in the area of the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway, but
it was not located.
June 21
• A wallet was turned in to Tribal police.
• Counterfeit bills were reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River
Highway. After an investigation the bills were determined to be real.
June 22
• Two suspects were arrested for vehicle theft in the 27000 block of
Salmon River Highway.
• Marijuana was located in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway.
• Tribal police assisted a stranded motorist.
• A 911 call was received on McPherson Road.
• A harassment complaint was reported to Tribal police.
June 23
• An officer gave a courtesy transport to a male.
• An open door was located in Tribal housing. Tribal police and Tribal
security ensured the residence was secure.
• Two subjects were arrested on outstanding warrants.
• A hit and run was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River High-
way.
June 24
• The male suspect in the hit and run from June 23 was cited.
• Two different alarms went off. Tribal police determined everything
was OK.
• Tribal police assisted several stranded motorists.
• Drug paraphernalia was located in Tribal housing.
• An officer gave a courtesy transport to a passenger in a DUII arrest.
• Minors with alcohol were reported to Tribal police, who contacted
the minors.
• Officers assisted a motorist who was locked out of their vehicle.

Housing Board seeks community input
AMERICAN INDIAN TEACHER PROGRAM
The Grand Ronde Housing Board is inviting Tribal members and Trib-
al housing residents to provide input to assist its members in carrying
out its advisory role to the Housing Department and Tribal Council
regarding policy guidance. The Housing Board meets at 3 p.m. the third
Thursday of each month in the Housing Department conference room,
28450 Tyee Road. Its chair is Matt Thomas. For more information,
