• Tribal police assisted Polk County deputies in locating and de-
taining a runaway juvenile.
Tuesday, May 30
• A citizen reported receiving threatening messages on Facebook.
Tribal police had the other party contacted by a local police
department.
• Another illegal campsite was located by Tribal police.
• Tribal police assisted with a civil issue near Tyee Road.
• Tribal police assisted Independence Police detectives with a
case.
• A male was arrested on multiple outstanding arrest warrants
during a traffic stop on Salmon River Highway.
Wednesday, May 31
• Three accidental alarms were activated.
• A vehicle accident was reported in the 26000 block of Salmon
River Highway. Tribal police cited one driver.
• Some remains were found on Grand Ronde Road and initially
reported to be possibly human. After an investigation, it was
determined the remains were from an animal.
Thursday, June 1
• Tribal police assisted Polk County Sheriff’s deputies with exe-
cuting a search warrant on Salmon River Highway.
• A male was arrested on a parole violation.
• A rollover crash occurred on Salmon River Highway. Tribal police
assisted Polk County Sheriff’s deputies and Oregon State Police
with the crash.
• A theft was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway.
• A civil issue was reported near Tyee Road.
• Tribal police assisted a motorist parked on Hebo Road.
• Tribal police and Polk County deputies searched the area for a
male reported to be swinging a fishing pole at traffic, but were
unable to locate the male.
• Tribal police assisted Polk County deputies with arresting a male
on an outstanding sex offense.
Friday, June 2
• Polk County deputies and Tribal police assisted Yamhill County
deputies on a domestic disturbance in Sheridan.
• A rollover crash was reported on Agency Creek Road. Tribal
police responded.
• A theft was reported to Tribal police in the 27000 block of Salmon
River Highway.
• A citizen called and wanted to know information regarding tele-
phonic harassment.
• Tribal police assisted the West Valley Fire Department and
Polk County deputies with a house fire with people inside the
residence.
Saturday, June 3
• Tribal police located a driver who was under the influence of an
intoxicant. Polk County deputies and Tribal police investigated
and arrested a male subject.
• During the DUII investigation, a vehicle crash occurred in the
same area. Tribal police left the DUII stop to assist with the traffic
crash.
• A theft was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway.
• A driving complaint regarding an intoxicated driver was reported
but due to the time delay, the driver was not located.
• Tribal police assisted with a civil issue near Tyee Road.
• Yamhill County deputies requested Tribal police assist with a
domestic disturbance in Willamina.

• Yamhill County and Tribal police searched for a menacing sus-
pect in the woods.
Sunday, June 4
• A false alarm was received.
• Tribal police encountered individuals shooting firearms. They
were advised about the proper areas to target shoot.
• Tribal police assisted Polk County deputies with arresting a
subject who had outstanding arrest warrants.
• Tribal police assisted medics and Polk County deputies with an
individual experiencing an overdose.
• A complaint was filed with Tribal police regarding telephonic
harassment.
• Polk County requested Tribal police respond and assist with a
traffic stop on Highway 22.
Monday, June 5
• Several driving complaints were called in.
• Tribal police located a stolen vehicle in the 27000 block of Salm-
on River Highway. The driver was arrested for vehicle theft and
possession of a controlled substance. The vehicle was returned
to the owner in Sheridan.
• A disturbance was reported on a shuttle bus in the area of
Grand Ronde Road and Tyee Road. Tribal police responded
and learned the disturbance was two male subjects yelling at
each. The subjects were warned against further disturbances.
• Tribal police were assisted by Yamhill County deputies with serv-
ing a search warrant in Willamina on an open sex crime case.
• Tribal police assisted a Polk County deputy with a DUII inves-
tigation.
Tuesday, June 6
• A driving complaint was called in but officers were unable to
locate the vehicle.
• A male was arrested and cited for identity theft in the 27000
block of Salmon River Highway.
Wednesday, June 7
• Officers conducted a welfare check on a subject off of Agency
Creek Road.
• Several driving complaints were received.
• Tribal police received a report of a male who was missing. Of-
ficers located the male.
Thursday, June 8
• A hit and run was reported on Grand Ronde Road. Tribal police
and Polk County deputies responded and are investigating.
• A disturbance was reported in the 28000 block of Salmon River
Highway.
• Tribal police assisted a mental health patient in the 27000 block
of Salmon River Highway.
• Tribal police assisted Polk County deputies with contacting a
theft suspect. The suspect was cited for theft.
• A fire was reported on the 29000 block of Salmon River Highway.
• A male was arrested for trespass in the 27000 block of Salmon
River Highway.
• A fight was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway.
Police investigated and determined no crime occurred.
• Tribal police located a missing person.
Friday, June 9
• A cell phone was stolen in the 27000 block of Salmon River
Highway. Tribal police investigated and contacted the suspect,
who was convinced to return the phone.
• A lost dog was located by Tribal police. The owner was located
and the dog returned.
• A telephone threat was reported to Tribal police.
• Tribal police assisted Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office deputies with a
search-and-rescue case. The subject was located safe and sound.
• A mental health patient called to report non-existent crimes.
• A disturbance was reported on Grand Ronde Road.
• A female was arrested for forgery in the 27000 block of Salmon
River Highway.
Saturday, June 10
• Tribal police assisted with a mental/medical call on Hebo Road.
• Tribal police attended the bike rodeo.
• A domestic disturbance was reported in the 28000 block of Salm-
on River Highway. Tribal police assisted Polk County deputies.
• A suicidal female was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon
River Highway. Tribal police assisted her and determined she
was not suicidal.
