The annual summit is an opportunity for each Tribal committee or special event board to share with others what they have accomplished over the last year. Budgeting public hearing set for June 4 A public hearing about Tribal priorities and budgeting will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 4, in the Tribal gym, 9615 Grand Ronde Road. Tribal members will be allowed to testify in person or submit written testimony on what they see as the Tribe’s priorities and provide input on the Tribal budget and budgeting process. Tribal members can submit written testimony to Tribal Council Chief of Staff Stacia Hernandez at stacia.martin@grandronde.org. Event will kick off American Indian Week SALEM – The Legislative Commission on Indian Services/Nine Tribes Spring Celebration will kick off American Indian Week in Oregon on Thursday, May 18. The event will run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Capitol Rotunda. The Grand Ronde Tribe and Spirit Mountain Casino will provide lunchtime refreshments.
