Taking a spring break
The Tribe’s Youth Education Department held its annual Spring Break
camping trip at B’nai B’rith Camp near Lincoln City from Monday to
Wednesday, March 27-29. About 40 sixth- through 12th-graders attended
the camp. The youth were divided into clans and participated in activities
that included an obstacle course, challenge games, polar plunge, meditation,
canoeing, stick game and skits.

In the exercise, Baker and Amaryssa Mooney, back, are axles of a
robot that have another youth leading them through the course
to retrieve ping pong balls. A representative from Evergreen
Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville ran the exercise that
taught youth about the Mars rover.
