Sunday, March 12
• Tribal police were called to the 100 block of Tyee Road for a report of
a suicidal female. Tribal police and the Polk County Mobile Crisis Team
responded to assist.
• Polk County Sheriff’s Office requested Tribal police respond to assist with
a domestic disturbance on Gold Creek Road. Police responded and as-
sisted until Polk County arrived. A female was arrested on an outstanding
arrest warrant.
• A dog complaint was received in the 28000 block of McPherson Road.
An officer located the dogs, which were reunited with their owner.
• Tribal police assisted Oregon State Police and Polk County Sheriff’s
Office on a report of a male laying in the ditch, screaming for help along
Salmon River Highway. After checking the area extensively, all officers
were unable to locate the individual and received no additional calls.
• A driving complaint was received regarding a vehicle unable to maintain
its lane. Tribal police located the vehicle.
• An intoxicated female was reported walking along Salmon River Highway.
Tribal police located the individual and were able to give her a courtesy
transport back to safety.
Monday, March 13
• During a traffic stop, Tribal police located a male with an outstanding
felony arrest warrant. The male was arrested and transported to jail.
• Tribal police assisted Oregon State Police with an overturned semi-truck
in the 45000 block of Hebo Road/Highway 22.
• Department of Health Services reported concerns to Tribal police re-
garding a residence off Tyee Road. Police investigated and completed a
report.
Tuesday, March 14
• Tribal police and Crime Stoppers of Oregon began working together on
the missing ceremonial breast plate.
• A driving complaint was received regarding a vehicle throwing rocks at
another vehicle on Salmon River Highway. Both vehicles were located.
The complainant chose not to press charges and the suspect was warned
to not throw items.
• Department of Health Services sent a report to police regarding an injury
to an infant. After a joint review and investigation, it was determined that
the injury was not suspicious and no crime had occurred.
• A backpack was located by a citizen off Blacktail Drive and turned over
to Tribal police. The backpack contained illegal drugs.
• A trespass complaint was received in the 27000 block of Salmon River
Highway. Tribal police responded and arrested a female subject for trespass.
• Tribal police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 26000 block of
Salmon River Highway. Officers determined no crime had occurred.
• A theft was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Officers
are investigating.
Wednesday, March 15
• Several alarms. One was due to smoke and another was for a medical
issue.
• Tribal police were assisted by Polk County Sheriff’s deputies with a theft
investigation. The missing item was returned.
Thursday, March 16
• A false alarm was received.
• Tribal police and the Polk County Mobile Crisis Team assisted a citizen
in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road.
• A driving complaint was received regarding a vehicle failing to maintain
its lane. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
• A citizen reported being harassed. Officers investigated and found the
issue was civil in nature.
• Tribal police and Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 8600
block of Grand Ronde Road for a report of an attempted break-in. After
an investigation, it was determined that it was a mental health issue.
• Medics were called to Fire Hall Road regarding a female who was unre-
sponsive. Tribal police assisted medics with getting to the patient.
• Tribal police assisted Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office and McMinnville
Police with a vehicle pursuit that began in McMinnville and ended near
Grand Ronde. A male suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
Friday, March 17
• Tribal police received a report regarding a male headed into the woods
off Agency Creek Road. Officers were unable to locate the male.
• A citizen came to the Police Station regarding a missing child from Mc-
Minnville who was believed to be in the Grand Ronde area. Officers and
deputies checked the residence that the child was reported to be in, but
the child was not located.
Saturday, March 18
• A complaint was received regarding individuals smoking marijuana in the
27000 block of Salmon River Highway on Tribal land. Officers contacted
the individuals and they were warned that marijuana consumption was
illegal on Tribal land.
• Police continued to search for the male last seen in the woods off Agency
Creek Road.
• Tribal police responded to the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway for a

reported domestic disturbance. No crime was committed and the parties
agreed to separate for the night.
Sunday, March 19
• Tribal police were called to the 9000 block of Tilixam Circle for a reported
harassment. After an investigation, it was determined that no crime had
occurred.
• A theft was reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. A gen-
erator was stolen from an RV while the occupants were getting water.
Police are investigating.
• A possible sex offense was reported to Tribal police, who are investigating.
• A driving complaint was received, but officers could not locate the vehicle.
• A Tribal officer located a vehicle that had crashed on Hebo Road and
assisted the driver.
• An $8 theft was reported in the 26000 block of Salmon River Highway.
Tribal police located the suspect and the victim chose not to press charges.
The suspect was cold and hungry, so the officer bought him dinner.
Monday, March 20
• A cat was killed in the 26000 block of McPherson Road and was reported
to police. Tribal police responded and found the animal had been killed
by dogs. Officers notified the owners of their pet’s death.
• Multiple calls were received regarding loose dogs in the 26000 block of
McPherson Road. Another sex offense was reported to Tribal police, who
are investigating.
• A call was received regarding an individual possibly selling marijuana in
the area of Tyee Road.
• An amount of a controlled substance was located in the 26000 block of
Salmon River Highway. Tribal police investigated and seized the sub-
stance.
• A Tribal police officer assisted several drivers who had pulled over and
appeared to be in an argument.
Tuesday, March 21
• Tribal police warned the owners of the loose dogs to keep the dogs con-
tained per Oregon law.
• Another call was received regarding someone selling marijuana.
• Tribal police were called to assist Polk County deputies in a theft inves-
tigation.
• Polk County deputies called Tribal police to assist with an arrest of a
subject with an outstanding warrant. While assisting deputies, the Tribal
police officer arrested one of the passengers for several drug-related
charges.
Wednesday, March 22
• Tribal police began investigating a possible game violation on a Tribal
hunting permit.
• Polk County Sheriff’s deputies and Tribal police responded to Salmon
River Highway for report of a possible break-in.
• Marijuana was located and turned over to Tribal police in the 27000 block
of Salmon River Highway.
• Polk County deputies and Tribal police responded to the 8600 block of
Grand Ronde Road for a reported burglary. After an investigation, it was
determined to be a mental issue.
• A domestic disturbance was reported in the area of Tyee Road. A male
was arrested for assault.
• A criminal mischief was reported in the 26000 block of Salmon River
Highway after a customer drove off with a gas nozzle still attached to the
vehicle.
Thursday, March 23
• Tribal police continued to investigate the game violation and found no
crime had been committed.
• A citizen complained to Tribal police about debt collectors calling.
• Indian Child Welfare called Tribal police regarding a sex offender in the
area of Tilixam Circle. A male was arrested on an outstanding arrest
warrant.
• Tribal police assisted Yamhill County Sheriff’s deputies with information
on a wanted person.
• A Tribal police officer assisted a male with getting his vehicle unstuck.
• A motion alarm was tripped in the area of Blacktail Drive by an object
tipping over.
Friday, March 24
• A loose ram was reported on Hebo Road. Officers were unable to locate
the animal.
• Tribal police assisted Polk County Sheriff’s deputies and medics with
a reported suicidal female on Salmon River Highway. The female was
transported to the hospital.
• Dogs were reported to be loose in the 26000 block of McPherson Road.
Tribal police responded and did not see any loose dogs.
• Several alarms were received.
• A DUII driver was reported to Tribal police, but the vehicle was not located.
• A domestic disturbance was reported to and investigated by Tribal police,
who determined no crime had been committed.
• A tip was called in regarding someone prowling in the 26000 block of
Salmon River Highway. Responding officers did not locate anyone or any
signs of prowling.
• Tribal police assisted Polk County Sheriff’s deputies with a 911 hang-up call.
Saturday, March 25
• Tribal police investigated a report of individuals supplying drugs to children.
• A citizen called police regarding a civil disagreement and was advised
that police could not assist. The citizen was directed to the civil courts.
• Tribal police arrested a male on a marijuana-related DUII.
