Tribal Elder William Wilfred McGee, 65, was born on April 10,
1951, in Salem, Ore., to Fredrick and Deloris McGee and walked on
on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017.
He graduated from North Salem High School in 1969 and attended
Chemeketa Community College. He married Judy Pettner on Dec.
10, 1988, in Lebanon, Ore.
Bill operated a lawn maintenance business for many years. He
loved bowling, making many cherished memories with his wife,
children, grandchildren and friends at the bowling alley. He also
enjoyed fishing, golfing and sports.
Bill was a caring, giving person who always offered a big smile.
Bill is survived by his wife, Judy; daughters, Traci McGee of Stay-
ton and Melissa McGee of Keizer; son, Ryan McGee of Stayton; and
granddaughter, Alisyn of Keizer.
A viewing was held on Friday, March 3, at Restlawn Memory
Gardens and Funeral Home in West Salem. A celebration of life will
be held on Saturday, March 18, at Mt. View Church in Aumsville.
Private burial will be held at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
