Tribal land holdings
surpass 15,000 acres
With the purchase of the 884-acre Coal Creek/Cole Creek/4H property
in Tillamook County, Grand Ronde Tribal land holdings now total more
than 15,004 acres, said Tribal Lands Department Manager Jan Reibach.
The Tribe fully closed and recorded the deed on the new Tillamook County
properties on Thursday, Dec. 29.
Tribal land holdings by category are 11,539.99 of Reservation/Trust
acreage and 3,464.97 of Fee acreage for a total of almost 15,005 acres. n

made from the CTGR extensions within the CTGR campus and/or those

LIHEAP program
open in service area
The Tribal Social Service’s LIHEAP – Low Income Home Energy As-
sistance Program – is open to eligible Tribal members in the six-county
service area and Clackamas County.
This is a first-come, first-served program and income criteria applies.
LIHEAP is federally funded through the Department of Health and
Human Services and is designed to help low-income households with
home heating costs.

Tribal Office Closures
Tribal offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16, in observance of
Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
