Board sets meeting Casino toy donation
The Tribal Domestic Violence Advisory Board meets the second Tuesday
monthly at the Community Center.
The Domestic Violence Program invites interested staff and community
members to attend the 30-minute meetings.

Housing Board seeks community input
The Grand Ronde Housing Board is inviting Tribal members
and Tribal housing residents to provide input to assist its mem-
bers in carrying out its advisory role to the Housing Department
and Tribal Council regarding policy guidance. The Housing Board
meets at 3 p.m. the third Thursday of each month in the Housing
Department conference room, 28450 Tyee Road. Its chair is Matt
Thomas. For more information, contact the Housing Department

Spirit Mountain Casino Marketing Director Shawna Ridgebear, middle,
is interviewed at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital at Oregon Health &
Science University in Portland as a tractor-trailer full of toys from Spirit
Mountain Casino’s annual Holiday Toy Drive was delivered to the hospital
on Monday, Dec. 19. It was the ninth year that the casino held the drive
that encouraged casino guests to bring in new, unwrapped toys in
exchange for free slot play. Eleven pallets of toys were delivered and they
will be given to children at the hospital throughout the year. In addition
to the donated toys, the casino purchased $5,000 worth of toys, games,
books and crafts for the hospital. Joining her is Teresa Henry, left, Ruby
Mendez-Anderson, second from left, both executive casino hosts, Angela
Sears, second from right, advertising supervisor at the casino, and Cathy
Wright, right, events & entertainment manager at the casino.
Name changes in Tribal Court
Tribal Court provides both minor and adult name changes to enrolled
members for a filing fee of only $30.

MARRIAGES IN TRIBAL COURT
The Tribal Court is now issuing marriage licenses and is able to
perform marriage ceremonies for a filing fee of $40. For questions
