Meagan Flier, Tribal Environmental Resources specialist with the
Natural Resources Department, was recently presented with a
Leadership Award from the West Coast Regional Planning Body for
her work coordinating Tribes along the West Coast that are part of
the Regional Planning Body and the West Coast Ocean Partnership.
The West Coast Regional Planning Body is a partnership of federally-
recognized Tribes from Oregon, Washington and California, and federal
and state agencies. It is focused on implementing the U.S. National
Ocean Policy and engaging stakeholders in marine planning and other
tools to effectively address existing and future uses of the region’s
oceans and coasts. The West Coast Ocean Partnership is a state, Tribal
and federal forum for fostering dialogue on ocean health. Flier’s award
was the first award ever given out by the Regional Planning Body.

some needed sprucing up.
Tribal Council awarded a con-

The Tribe received two bids on

White said at the Nov. 15 Legisla-

the renovation work will include
interior renovation for all three
lodges, including flooring, paint,
appliances and fixtures that need
to be replaced.
In other action, Tribal Council de-
