Correction — Smoke Signals incorrectly reported the year that Tribal
member Cheyanne Fasana served a three-week internship at the American
Museum of Natural History in New York City in the Nov. 15 edition. The
correct year was 2013. Smoke Signals regrets the error.

Tribal Office Closures
Tribal offices will be closing on Friday, Dec. 23, at noon and closed
on Monday, Dec. 26, in observance of Christmas. Offices also will be
closing on Friday, Dec. 30, at noon and closed on Monday, Jan. 2, 2017,
in observance of New Year's Day.

munity of Oregon, is published twice a month. No portion of this publication may be reprinted
without permission.
Our editorial policy is intended to encourage input from Tribal members and readers
about stories printed in the Tribal newspaper. However, all letters received must be
signed by the author, an address must be given and a phone number or e-mail address
must be included for verification purposes. Full addresses and phone numbers will not
be published unless requested.
