Tossing the turkey

Jason Bailey, a Tribal maintenance technician, bowls his way to a
first-place finish in the men’s division during the 13th annual Turkey
Bowling event held in front of the Governance Center on the Tribal
campus on Thursday, Nov. 17. Mike Barry, a Tribal Children & Family
Services caseworker, took second place and Tribal Compensation/
Human Resource Information System Specialist Jim Holmes finished
third. Almost 50 people participated in this year’s event and it was the
third year in row the same turkey was used as the bowling ball.
Steve O’Harra, left, Tribal Senior Human Resources generalist,
hands Kimberly Roybal, a college intern in the Tribe’s Youth
Education Program, a pin that was part of her prize for winning
first place in the women’s division during the 13th annual Turkey
Bowling event. A gift card also was part of her prize. Shelby Hoyt, a
Tribal dental assistant, placed second and Tribal Cultural Collections
Specialist Sibyl Edwards placed third.
