The second annual Veterans Day Meal, sponsored
by the Tribe’s Veterans Special Event Board, was
held on Friday, Nov. 11, at the Tribal Community
Center and attracted approximately 100
attendees. The meal also included the annual
celebration of the birthday of the Marine Corps with Tribal Elder Alton
Butler cutting a cake decorated with the Corps’ emblem. Slices were
then distributed to veterans in attendance. The meal was open to
veterans and their families from all surrounding areas.
