Tribal Library Summer Program: “On Your Mark, Get Set ... READ!”
started on Monday, June 20, and runs through Thursday, July 28.
Registration is required for the Reading Incentive Program and
ended on Thursday, June 16. This program is for ages 4 to 17. Our
Book Buck store will open on Monday, July 11, with lots of awesome
things to buy for our Reading Incentive Program readers. This year,
teens will have the option to purchase gift cards or prizes with their
book bucks.
Each week we will have a special theme with a book display and
activities in the Tribal Library. Each Saturday we’ll have a movie at
noon to go with the weekly theme. The schedule is:

Week 6: Video Gaming!
There will be no July 2 movie due to the holiday weekend closure.
The Tribal Library will be closed at noon Friday, July 1, through
Monday, July 4.
Reading Incentive Program: Youth may bring in their reading
logs each week for tracking or may wait until the Book Buck store
opens on July 11 to do their tracking and spend their bucks.
CTGR 2016-2017 K5 Afterschool Program
Sign up Details
Applications will be available on Monday July 11th, 2016 at Youth Education
Sign-ups take place during regular business hours on Monday July 25th through
Friday July 29th at Youth Education
For Who: CTGR Tribal, CTGR Tribal Descendent and other enrolled Native
American students who are entering Kindergarten through 5th grade in the
Willamina and Sheridan School Districts
Fees/Deposits: $20 per month for Afterschool and $5 per day for full day
Programming, a sliding-scale reduced fee (based on monthly income) is available
Program Details
Location is at the CTGR Youth Education buildings
Transportation is provided on a CTGR bus from
Willamina Elementary School. Due to van seating
limitations, we can only serve 10 students from
the Sheridan Elementary School (FCS).
Provide healthy afternoon snacks each day and a
variety of educational, recreational, and cultural
enrichment activities.
Application submitted must have:
Full application completed and signed
Deposit $20, or fee determined by the sliding scale
Parent/Guardian proof of employment if accessing the sliding scale
CIB or Tribal I.D.
Limited spaces available!
Sign ups for K5 Afterschool roster spots use a first come, first serve basis.
There are a total of 60 roster openings, (K/2nd: 30 spots & 3rd/5th: 30 spots)
Enrolled CTGR Tribal Member youth will be offered the programing spots first.
CTGR Descendant and other enrolled Native American youth will be awarded
roster spots if any are remaining at the conclusion of the initial sign up week on
July 29th. If a waiting list is needed, Tribal Member youth signing up after the
program enrollment is at capacity, will be placed at the top of the wait list.
