2016 Summer Youth Employment
ATTENTION! All enrolled Grand Ronde Tribal members
between the ages of 14-18 within the current eighth grade
through senior year in high school are eligible to apply. Pref-
erence in hiring will be given to Grand Ronde Tribal youth
in their junior or senior year of high school. Must be 14 years
of age by the application deadline. Some positions have an
age requirement of 16 years of age due to the nature of work
duties performing. Pay rate will be $10.10/hour. Please note
that some positions may be part-time or full-time and some de-
partments are willing to work with lexible scheduling. Please
disclose any days and hours preferences; as well as extra-cur-
ricular activities, vacations, etc. that departments may need
to know for scheduling purposes. Submit your application by
5 p.m. on May 13, 2016. Only one application is required and

in rugged outdoor terrain. Interest in or
experience in working in the outdoors
helpful. Must furnish own work boots
and complete and pass pre-employment
background check and drug test.

Pay: $10.50-$14 an hour
Must have the desire to work with youth
and/ or in natural resources. Must be
able to work in rugged outdoor terrain.
Must be able to pass moderate physical
pack test. Experience in the proper use of
hand tools. Good communication skills.
Must have valid Oregon Driver’s License
and safe driving record. Must be able to
attend 3-day, 2 night ( June 15-17, 2016)
training in Bend, Oregon. Must furnish
own work boots and complete and pass
pre-employment background check and
drug test.
