Annual checkup
Powwow to be held March 5
The Evergreen, Vancouver and Battle Ground Native American Edu-
cation Program and Native American Parent Association of Southwest
Washington will hold its annual Chxi-Tilixam Traditional Powwow from
noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Covington Middle School, 11200 N.E.
Rosewood Road, Vancouver.
Grand entries will be at 1 and 6 p.m.
This is a free and sober event that is open to the public. There also will
be arts and craft vendors.

Blacketer during the fourth annual Give Kids A Smile Day at Willamina
Elementary School on Thursday, Feb. 18. Seventy-ive elementary
school children were seen during the event that screens children for
cavities and brushes and applies luoride to their teeth. The event is
sponsored by the American Dental Association. Tribal Dentists Erin
Lange and G. Ryan Davis also screened children and Tribal Dental
Assistant Shelby Hoyt helped with paperwork.

Tribal Court staff is available at no charge for notaries 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday though Friday with the exception of noon to 1 p.m.
