Paddle on the Willamette

The annual Tribal Canoe Journey is taking a one-year hiatus due to
lack of a host Tribe, which gave the Grand Ronde Canoe Family an
opportunity to hold a Willamette River Paddle on Monday, July 20,
to Wednesday, July 22. Members of the Grand Ronde Canoe Family
carry ulXayu down the boat ramp at Clackamette Park in Oregon City
for the start of their Willamette River Paddle on Monday, July 20. The
boat ramp at the park was closed for safety reasons, so the canoe had
to be carried to be placed in the Willamette River.

Clothes Closet open Monday, Friday
The Clothes Closet is open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday and

It accepts clothes, small appliances, small pieces of furniture, elec-
tronics and household goods that are clean and in good condition.
It does not accept books, large TVs or large furniture, but there is a
community board where people can post those items.
Donations are accepted during regular business hours.
