It has become obvious to us over the recent issues with the Willamina
School Board that our voice as a Tribe needs to be heard. If you have any

I am a graduate student in the Department of Anthropology at the

membership and belonging in Native American Tribes as part of my
master’s degree.
I will be attending cultural events, meetings and conducting interviews
with Tribal members throughout the next two months. I would like to know
what it means for individuals to be members of the Confederated Tribes
of Grand Ronde, how they understand membership and Tribal belonging,

100th birthday. She was surprised and happy to see all of the familiar faces.
A special thank you to Carrie, Shirley and staff at the lodges for all of

Notice to parents, guardians or custodians of minor and incompetent
members of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community
of Oregon and Tribal members 18 to 20 years of age – Regarding the
Rabbi Trust Fund and Minors’ Custodial Trust Fund investments.
• This is to inform you of the upcoming annual election opportunity to
recommend an investment option that best suits your tolerance for
investment risk for your child’s accounts in the Rabbi Trust and Mi-
nors’ Custodial Trust. The election deadline is May 26, 2015, and the
investment period will be effective from June 1, 2015, to May 31, 2016.
The Investment Risk Recommendation Form packet is available at
the regular Tribal Council meeting on May 20, on the Tribe’s website
and through the Member Services Department at 800-422-0232.
