A Cultural Exhibition of the
Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde
The First Fish Ceremony is held each year to commemorate
the return of our relatives into the waterways.
Each year the Salmon make an epic journey from the Pacific
Ocean to the headwaters of our local rivers and streams.
The return of the fish has always signified survival in the
form of a valuable food source.
We celebrate their arrival to commemorate their journey
and to ensure their return.
We invite the Tribal Community to join us at this ceremony.
