students attended the event.

partnered up and they each had to choose in their mind to be a bear, salmon
or mosquito. Once they both decided, they turned around and made a sign
signifying what they chose, hoping to be the same animal. The point of the
game was to focus on your partner and read the message they were sending.

SuperHappyFunBreak

The program offered youths, ages 1 to 18, free lunch and activities during
Spring Break, March 23-27. The Tribe’s Nutrition Program made the
lunch with food that was provided by Marion-Polk Food Share. Francene
Ambrose, Grand Ronde Food Bank coordinator, led the activities and
Elders Gladys Hobbs and Violet Folden volunteered to serve the food.
Marion-Polk Food Share, operators of the Grand Ronde Food Bank, was
one of the sponsors.
