Letters
Dear Smoke Signals:
We have been involved with the Grand Ronde Community Resource
Center for four years. We would like to thank Nancy Holmes for starting
it all those years back. She saw the need and did something about it.
There are a lot of people who have served as board members and vol-
unteers and managers. We don’t know all of their names, so we are just
going to say thank you.
We would like to say thank you to the two council people who really
helped us, Reyn Leno and Jack Giffen Jr.
We met a lot of nice clients and people who donated. One comes to mind:
The Church of the Wild Woods. Of course, the clinic and those who work
at the Tribe. We even had donations from as far away as Michigan.
The need is here in Grand Ronde, so we hope that the new food bank
makes it.
God bless,
Claudia Leno
