Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
On behalf of everyone from Land and Culture at Chachalu, hayu-masi for a
monumental year! In addition to the many ongoing projects and events we’ve
,

June with an initial cultural exhibit, classes, events and an operating state-of-
the-art collection center to care for Tribal artifacts. Since its launch, there has
and tours for Tribal members during Powwow and Restoration weekends.
Recognizing that one of the goals set by Tribal Council is the establishment of a
Land and Culture Department adopted the management of Chachalu into our
existing operations.
Earlier this year, we added an oral history project that honors Tribal veterans
and their families. Veterans are invited to share important stories of how they
served the country. In 2015, oral histories will continue for our Tribal Elders
v
their experiences and document them for history archives/future exhibits.
Tribal Council and our Elders. For that matter if anyone would like to share a
story or history about the Tribe, please feel free to contact us.
It is truly a blessing to be part of this great circle of culture. khanawi ntsay-
