OHP re-application process
In October 2013, the Oregon Health Plan sent out a one-page applica-
tion to sign up for health benefi ts called “Fast Track.”
Any recipient on SNAP (food stamps) received a Fast Track letter. All
Oregon Health Plan members who qualifi ed for coverage through Fast
Track must re-apply within the fi rst year of coverage or risk losing their
coverage. If it has not been a full year, you still need to re-apply to con-
tinue receiving health benefi ts.
In July, the Oregon Health Authority will begin sending letters to Orego-
nians who received the Oregon Health Plan through Fast Track explain-
ing the re-application process. The Grand Ronde Health and Wellness
Center Community Partners want to help Tribal and community members
make sure they retain their health coverage. If you do not re-apply, you
will lose your health benefi ts through the Oregon Health Plan.

Help needed identifying plots
The Facilities Department is asking for help identifying veteran’s plots.
If your family member’s or friend’s plot is a veteran and we do not have a
veteran’s fl ag present on holidays, please inform us.

The Tribe is seeking Requests for Qualifi cations from individu-
als interested in serving as an Appellate Judge for the Court of
Appeals. There are three positions available. This is a part-time,
Tribal Council-appointed position with a term of two years. To
obtain a copy of the RFQ, contact Angela Fasana at 503-879-4596

Request for Qualifi cations
In an effort to be of better service to the membership, the Tribe’s Fish
& Wildlife Committee has created an e-mail address for those who hunt,
fi sh and gather on the Reservation.
The e-mail address is designed so that Tribal members can make the
committee aware of any concerns or questions and to make positive com-
ments. The committee will do its best to provide answers and feedback to
the membership so that everyone who wishes to utilize the Reservation
lands may do so legally.
