Looking for scholarships?
There are numerous scholarship opportunities offered for students to apply to
each year. The majority of scholarships for fall term/semester are due between
January and April of each year. Don’t miss your chance to apply for free money
for college. The Tribal Higher Education programs are here to assist you in
your application process. You also can utilize a scholarship search engine to
help locate scholarships. If you use a scholarship search site, be sure to read
the privacy policy to ensure you are using a site that will not sell your contact
information. A recommended search site to use is www.kaarme.com.

Saturday: 10 A . M . – 2 P . M .
Note: The Tribal Library is no longer a Chemeketa Co-
operative Regional Library Services circulation site. Due
to little to no use of this service, it has been discontinued at the
Tribal Library.
Reading Incentive Program: The Tribal Library had 20 active
readers out of 50 registered youth. The 20 readers read 398 books
for a total of 12,001 minutes. The youths earned enough book bucks
to purchase $800 worth of prizes at the library’s Book Buck Store,
plus each of the four age categories had a lucky drawing winner of
a $40 movie money gift card. Congratulations to all of our superstar
readers this summer.

Boo” books – “Where Is My Mom,” “Puppy” and “Kitten” (series);

Donations: Many thanks to the following contributors to the
library collection: Eirik T., Bill M., Daniele P., Melissa G., Shawn J.,
Veronica G., Lewis Y. and Leroy & Mary Ellen G. We appreciate the
great additions to the library collection and other contributions.
VHS movies: We have deleted most of the VHS movies from
the library collection. Many of our children and youth movies were
videos so we have a very limited selection of movies for youth now.
Please donate good children’s DVDs you may have and no longer
watch. Thanks!
Reminder: Donated items must be clean and in good condi-
tion.
Oregon State Library Inter-Library Loan Service: This
service remains in effect at the Tribal Library. The service offers
“library to library” inter-library loan services. By completing the
inter-library loan form, Tribal Library patrons may request items
from the Oregon State Library collection. Items are mailed directly
to our library. OSL lending policies apply for return of items.
