This is a first-come, first-served program. A child must be an enrolled Grand Ronde Tribal member and must be of school age and enrolled in school (preschool, elementary, middle or high school). Deadline for applications is Sept. 15. n ATTENTION If you are currently receiving or are in need of SNAP benefits, Social Services provides an Oregon Department of Human Services case- worker who comes to Grand Ronde twice monthly on Wednesdays. Construction on the 12,000-square-foot building, which will have 30 offices, began immediately and the building is expected to be completed the end of spring 2015. Gerding Builders is doing the construction and some Tribal workforce will be used on the project. The building is designed to be a “one-stop shop” for Tribal members seeking employment with the Tribe. According to the National Inter- agency Fire Center, Oregon is expected to have an “above normal fire potential.” With this forecast and an abundance of fuel wood available, we are encouraging valid permit holders to fill the issued permits as soon as reasonably possible to avoid a closure due to fire season.
