EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES
Applications now being accepted
Grand Ronde Head Start (0-5)/Preschool is now accepting applications
for children ages 0-5 years old and expectant mothers for the 2014-15
school year.
Completed applications must be received no later than 4 p.m. Wednes-
day, July 2.
Selection will take place July 17, 2014.

Monday – Friday: 9 A . M . – 6 P . M .
(closed Monday - Friday: noon – 1 P . M .)
Saturday: 10 A . M . – 2 P . M .
Tribal Library Summer Program: June 16-July 31. This
year’s Summer Program theme is “FIZZ, BOOM, READ!” The
next activity session is from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 12, for
ages 5-12. This will be our “Invention Convention” session. Please
RSVP to attend so we have enough supplies.
New items in the Collection: Children’s Collection: “POP!
The Invention of Bubble Gum,” “A Wizard from the Start-Thomas
Edison” and “Marvelous Mattie Became an Inventor.” Young Adult
Collection: “FIRE Bubbles & Exploding Toothpaste” and “97 Things
to Do Before You Finish High School.” Adult Non-fi ction: “Carless
People” and “Band of Brothers.” DVDs – 20.
Donations: Many thanks to the following contributors to the
library collection: Lewis Younger. We appreciate the great addi-
tions to the library collection.
Reminder: Donated items must be clean and in good condi-
tion.
The Tribal Library is a CCRLS Circulation Site: Use your
Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Services library card to
place electronic holds on resources in the 18 partner libraries and
items will be couriered here for check out and can be checked back
in here as well.
Inter-Library Loan services: The Tribal Library partners with
Oregon State Library to offer “library to library” inter-library loan
services. By completing the inter-library loan form, library patrons
may request items from the Oregon State Library collection. Oregon
State Library lending policies apply for return of items.
