Commission on Indian Service’s Spring Gathering held at the plankhouse on Wednesday, May 21. The blanket was presented to Atiyeh by Tribal Council
members Kathleen Tom, left, Jon A. George, right, Cheryle A. Kennedy and Denise Harvey, both not pictured. Atiyeh supported Grand Ronde during its
Restoration effort and started the commission while in office.
Spring Gathering

Legislative Commission on Indian Services Spring Gathering
held in the Tribal gymnasium on Thursday, May 22. The

Tribal Council Chairman Reyn Leno gives a welcome address during the
opening ceremony of the Legislative Commission on Indian Service’s
Spring Gathering held in the Tribal gymnasium on Thursday, May 22.
Grand Ronde hosted the gathering, which drew about 120 attendees
to discuss how state government and Oregon’s Tribal governments can
work together for the betterment of Indian Country in Oregon.
