Honoring April
If you are currently receiving or are in need of SNAP benefi ts,
Social Services provides an Oregon Department of Human Ser-
vices caseworker who comes to Grand Ronde twice monthly on
Wednesdays.
The caseworker may assist with applications, updates, child
care, etc.
If you are in need of services, call 503-879-2034 to schedule
an appointment or you can reach Michelle Carmona at 503-879-

during an honoring of her at the 12th annual Social Powwow at the
university in Salem on Saturday, March . Campbell, who is a Grand
ronde Tribal member, was honored for her position as the Oregon
Department of education’s indian education specialist. An honor
song was performed and other native American educators were
invited to participate in the dance to be honored as well. before the
frame presentation, Campbell was gifted a Pendleton blanket by the
association, and Felicia Garcia, middle, was part of that presentation.
