Veterans benefi t session slated
Jerry Wilson, Yamhill County Veterans Service Offi cer, will be on hand
from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, in the Tribal Community Center
to answer questions for veterans seeking to access military benefi ts.
He will answer questions about what benefi ts are available, what the
eligibility requirements are, and help with claim forms and the docu-
mentation needed to fi le claims for benefi ts.
All services will be provided free of charge and veterans need to bring
their DD214 (military certifi cate of discharge).
Veterans should check in with Social Services receptionist Rhonda
Leno at 503-879-2034. For more information, contact Wilson at 503-

st. Michael’s off ers weekly brunch
St. Michael’s Catholic Church offers an open house brunch every Sunday
following Mass. The brunch is free to the community.
Brunch begins at about 11:30 a.m. following the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Mass
attendance is not required for brunch attendance.

roller skating Trip set for Jan. 17
The Youth Education Department will hold its annual K-12 Roller
Skating Trip to the Hillsboro Skate World from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday,
Jan. 17.
Students can use their own indoor skates, pads and other supplies upon
approval from Skate World staff. Families of K-12 youth are welcome to
attend.

Tribal Offi ce Closures
Tribal offi ces will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
